The educational data plots are a digital library collection based on the visualization of atmospheric data. Specifically, this collection focuses on data from the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Program's Southern Great Plains (SGP), North Slope of Alaska (NSA), and Tropical West Pacific (TWP) sites. Because the SGP site is home to the largest collection of ground-based remote-sensing atmospheric instruments in the world, we expect improving the accessibility to this data will have significant impact on the research and educational community.
The educational data plots website is divided into two sections: Visualizations and Education.
Visualizations
Visualizations contains a number of user interfaces from which data images of the ARM Southern Great Plains, North Slope of Alaska, and Tropical Western Pacific instrumentation may be viewed.
Education
Education contains available educational resources including information on workshops, classes, lesson plans, activities, and student opportunities.
